Finding whole grains in the grocery store

This video is about finding whole grains in any grocery store across America and beyond! Labeling laws often make it hard to discern what is whole grain and what is not, making it difficult for those trying to eat whole food plant based!!! Whole food is all the fruits and vegetables, including nuts and seeds and avocados. But if you are looking for baked goods like whole grain bread, pita, crackers etc., it gets much more difficult much more quickly. The secret is you must read the ingredients of these items. If you see "wheat flour" or "organic wheat flour" in the ingredient list, that is white flour and not whole grain!!! I show you both whole grain and not so you can see what I am talking about. Whole grains are filled with fiber and nutrients from the hull of the wheat. Just "wheat flour" or "white flour" has been stripped of the hull and thus the nutrients. I'm sorry you have to investigate these items when you are shopping, and at home you should get rid of every single item that has "wheat flour" in it. 95% of the baked goods in a grocery store are made with "wheat flour and thus not whole grain!!!
