Coffee Ice Cream that tastes like the best coffee you ever had and is so creamy and so incredibly delicious!!!
Coffee Ice Cream
12 oz(1 1/2 cups) coffee
1 1/2 cups raw unsalted cashews
1/2 cup maple syrup
I have the Cuisinart Ice Cream maker and so yesterday, I stuck the receptacle that gets frozen, into the freezer because it has to be frozen for 24 hours. Blend on high power, the coffee, cashews and maple syrup until there is a smooth consistency. Once it's like liquid, pour into a jar with a cover to put in the refrigerator overnight. Take the frozen receptacle out of the freezer and put together the ice cream maker. Then pour the chilled liquid from the refrigerator into the ice cream maker and turn on the ice cream maker. In less that 20 minutes you will have this delicious coffee ice cream that you see above!!!!
I use this excellent vegan hot fudge sauce that is sweetened with fruit juice.
