Sushi is delicious and sometimes rather expensive and not served with brown rice. Make your own!!!

Sushi
Noir (seaweed especially for sushi) (Winco, Clarks)
Short grain brown rice (in bulk at winco)
Organic Cucumber
Avocado
Place the nori on a wooden cutting board. We almost always have cooked short grain brown rice in our fridge, so I take out some and warm it up a little so it sticks to the noir and each other better. I press the rice out thinly out onto the noir and then lay avocado and cucumber in line in the center of the noir sheet. Roll over the avocado and cucumber and tuck it in as best you can. Then continue rolling tightly until you get a log.

Place the serrated knife on the log and with your other hand place two fingers, one on either side of the knife. Cut. This process keeps the log completely intact. Repeat for all cuts.

I love pickled ginger and its so good with sushi, so I put pickled ginger on top of the sushi slice and then dip the bottom of the sushi slice in toasted sesame seeds:) Delicious!!!
