No-bake energy balls

No-bake Energy Balls

1 cup of rolled oats

1/2 cup of flax seed meal

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup smooth peanut butter(or sunflower seed butter or almond butter)

1/3 cup maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla

Add all above ingredients into a medium-large sized bowl and mix well until the maple syrup and the nut butter has coated all the oats and chips. Take a small amount of mixture and make a ball. Set on a glass baking dish or stainless flat pan that can go into the freezer. Make balls of all the mixture and set them on the pan, singly not touching each other. Place the pan in the freezer and allow the balls to freeze. Once frozen(or maybe before:)), they are an excellent treat with 3500mg of ALA(Omega 3) per serving.
